Why I have Kylie on my team –
Kylie is the one I go to when I need an energy boost! When I first met her I noticed her ability to look on the bright side of things and hustle her way around any obstacle. She jumped on her certification and completed things in record time. Her drive for more training and education drew me in(obviously because I am an education junkie too) and I knew she would be an amazing instructor. Kylie comes from a medical background and has helped shape our curriculum to keep it balanced between the natural and medical side of things. Her insights help families with even the toughest of questions. Kylie also has an ability to see a post on Pinterest and make it even better – those are some skills!
Inspired by the birth of her daughter in 2013, Kylie followed her calling into birth work. Kylie believes in empowering, educating, and supporting all types of families and births. Her passion for supporting others dug initial roots as a Certified Medical Assistant and OR Tech. Her experience in the hospital setting and knowledge of hospital procedures relaxes parents and answers many unknowns. In perfect balance, she encourages parents thorough education of and empowerment in the process to trust birth’s beautiful journey.
Kylie is a DONA-Certified Birth Doula and Certified HypnoBirthing Instructor. Also certified in the Rebozo Technique and Health Provider CPR. She continued her education through the BEC’s Professional Doula Series and Anna Verwaal’s Womb to World. Kylie teaches HypnoBirthing, Hospital 101, Labor Comfort Measures, and Newborn 101.
Like a true southern Californian, she enjoys being outside and relaxing at the beach. Kylie is also on the PTA, serves as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and wants to be a Pinterest creator! Her family is her utmost priority and she brings this mindset into each and every family that she supports educates.
