Ali is available for daytime postpartum support. Ali is a birth and postpartum doula, family photographer, and host of the women’s health podcast, Birth Kweens. She got her start in birth work in 2013 as a volunteer birth doula after being inspired by the documentary The Business of Being Born. After spending a year volunteering, Ali transitioned into birth work full time. She trained and certified as both a birth and postpartum doula and has taken many additional trainings over the years, including courses on breastfeeding, infant massage, baby wearing, and belly binding for postpartum healing. Since 2013, Ali has supported over 300 families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. She’s passionate about helping families feel prepared, supported, and empowered throughout every step of their birthing and parenting journey.
*While the professional birth and postpartum doulas listed on the website are carefully screened and selected by the Birth Education Center, they are not employees. All doulas invest in the program by paying a yearly listing fee. By entering into contract with your doula, you do so at your own risk. The doulas are responsible for the means and methods for providing non-medical support to families, within their scope of practice.
