Why I have Chelsie on my team –

One of the things I love most about Chelsie is her sense of humor and her ability to go with the flow. She goes all in 110% with everything that she starts and then she sees it through to completion. I watched her birth journey and saw her level of investment was an “all-in” attitude. She took all the classes, she read all the books even though she was already a birth worker. That’s what I see her inspire in her classes – do the work, picture an amazing finish and move forward as though you already have it. She embraced the challenges of birth and never sugarcoats that with parents. She’s straight up real and is not afraid to speak the truth.

Chelsie has a two year old and is expecting a new baby in the spring. She had the homebirth that she always wanted and her son Easton was born on December 30, 2016. She found her Doula career when deciding to follow her heart and changed paths from previously being in the medical field. She immediately did her training and became a certified Birth Doula through DONA in July of 2015. While working as a Birth Doula, she realized how much she loved helping to teach families how to find their voice. She then decided to become a certified HypnoBirthing Instructor.

Chelsie also has done her training with ICEA for Child Birth Education completed her Rebozo certification and trained as Postpartum Doula with CAPPA. She has continued to support families with her knowledge and is extremely passionate about serving new parents. She feels education is the starting point to giving families options and also help them achieve the birth they desire.

“I work hard to give parents a new perspective on birth – whether they are first timers or third timers. There is always new information to gather. I want to show parents that sense of confidence they may not have known they already had inside of them. I want each and every one of my families to leave my class knowing they can do this and that they are not alone. It literally takes a village.” Chelsie Veirs
