Sometimes parents are hesitant to hire a doula who doesn’t have her own children but at the same time – she was the doula they liked the most in the interview process! Ellie, who also became a doula without having children, discusses overcoming her initial hesitation and how she is grateful it didn’t stop her in her career goals. Both women emphasize the importance of education, community, and mentorship in their roles.
